2009 Burtwistle Memorial Trophy

Memorial Trophy

After a damp summer last year and two cancellations, the Burtwistle Memorial Trophy finally was held last Sunday at the Sports Field. Four teams competed in a 20-20 format knock-out tournament and a good turnout of supporters made the most of the glorious sunshine.

Hopefully a report of the day will be published, but for now enjoy some photos from the day.

What a fantastic day this was! Thanks to all who helped organise.

I've never seen so people watching cricket at BL - and the weather was perfect. If anybody else has photos, please send them to Ben so he can post them here.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the event and everyone who supported and came to watch a great day's cricket.

Over £1000 was raised on the day which is a tremendous effort.

Well Done everyone !
