I've just come across this site by accident.
You'd be forgiven for thinking that the only thing that goes on in BL is sport related. Lots more people in the village do lots of other things beside sport and the sportsfield is only utilised for about 2% of any year.
Why no mention of all the other things that go on in the village?
The Village Hall on it's own has Brownies, Guides, Fairs, Films, Flower Shows, Exhibitions, Plays, Musicals, Panto's, Indoor Bowls, Parties, WI, Leisure Club, Gigs, Toddler Group, School Events, then there's Defib, Bridge, Coffee Mornings etc at St Leonard's Hall.
Why arent these all mentioned?
Come on - broaden it out a bit and get it interactive with forums to post comments and debates.
At the moment only 10% of the population would have any interest.
What about suggested walking and cycle routes?
Modern street scenes of ALL the village to record for posterity.
Question facility to interrogate the Parish and Borough Council.
The possibilities are endless but it needs to be publicised and not just with the cricket and football players.

Andy,
I'm sure benny would be delighted to put other content on the website, but he needs reports/pictures/details etc. Therefore spread the word about the website and if you do attend anything create a report and send it using the contact button on right hand side menu.

'came across the site by accident' at 11pm on the 23rd december... ? Not expecting Santa then ? Or wrapping pressies ? I couldnt help but notice Andy that every time you type something its a critisism or complaint against others. Frankly its boring and I'm not sure how many people are interested in your negativity.
You see...
I think interact would be a better word than 'interogate' dont you..... point proven.
